This is the thirty-first year that Danbury is issuing the Gold Christmas Ornament Collection. At the beginning of the fourth decade of these amazing ornaments, take a look back at that first simple, elegant Angel and compare it to this year’s beauties. Surprisingly, they did not issue a commemorative angel in 2006 but, instead, included a beautiful Door Knocker with a blessing for the home. Every 2006 ornament exemplifies the technology, creativity and design that is the pride of the Danbury Mint.
