When the Danbury Mint began making gold Christmas ornaments in 1976 – that single, simple Angel – I wonder if they expected that 42 years later, they would still be adding to this collection? As for this collector, I am thrilled that they did. We love Christmas and we get to celebrate a bit all year long as these stunning pieces of artwork arrive. This year, in 2018, I think the most incredible ornament is “Believe”. In a world that is challenged, the strength of “Believe” is critical. At Christmas, “Believe” helps us all hold on to hope, beauty, love, charity and all that makes Christmas special to each of us in our own way.
